Halloween

Good party last night - woke up at 4.30am this morning ona flight of stairs at my brother's place. I thought I did quite well on only about two hours sleep yesterday and all the alcohol last night mmmmmmmmmmm!

All Hallows eve tonight but seeing as most fol have to work tomorrow it is just a quiet evening (recovery time). The clocks went back this morning it is now black as pitch outside brrrr it really feels like winter now.

Mean Fiddler Halloween Birthday

11pm - 3:30am hard rock, goth, heavy metal with liberal doses of half-naked burlesque-style dancers on stage and a guy eating (sort of anyway) razorblades and hammering nails into his face. Damn good fun wnet with Natalie the kiwi connection. Got a Marilyn Manson single (Personal Jesus)and a bit of whiplash and temporary hearing loss but damn it was a good party!

Ended up spending a bit of time with another Matthew and his g/f Morgan they were dressed up as Ichi the Killer and an extra from Battle Royale - two excellent Japanese films - highly recommended!

Am at work now, I had about two hours of sleep so I am ok fortunately I am only working until 1pm so I can go home and do stuff (shop, sleep, get ready for my brother's halloween party tonight) yay!

BIG NEWS

My best friend - Clint told me that I must go home to SA in June next year as I am going to be the godfather to his and Carmen's yet unborn child! This is amazing news, he was over the moon when I spoke to them on Saturday. So next year I will be going home for several weeks hooray!

Hi after being awaf from this for a while I am back!!! - Scotland was awesome I want to go back maybe to stay and work I do not know... hmmmm decisions decisions!

My parents are back in sunny South Africa there month here was the quickest month I have ever experienced. It was great having them over here. In the month they were here we did more touristy stuff than I have done since I arrived, it waqs great doing it with family it wouldnt have been the same if I had done it on my own.

In other news - work is going well I am very busy working in the Sidcup stock reduction team (pulling tons of books of the shelves in the library) along with all the other work I am busy on - I am trying to resurrect the Teenage Reading Group I run at Thamesmead Library - it was going really well until all the other work stuff interferred. Jen and I have broken up - actually that happened a while ago but I am now getting used to that unfortunately so I am single.

I will hopefully post more regularly I am trying to regulate my schedule (some hope) and it may allow some more time we shall see...
