A new post (and not just a quick add-in)

Shock and horror I know a real post - I have been really lax about adding to my blog... sorry! Life has been really hectic lately and looks as if it will continue in that vein for some time to come. I am still working (yay!), still alive (yay!), still single (no yay!). I am becoming more of a fan-boy geek than I tohught possible, my last purchase was a 'Spooky the thing what squeeks' - if you don't know what that is go here: Squeak-age to find out.

On the news front I should be Chartered by April/May next year. Yes Librarians can also become Chartered - not just architects and accountants we at least provide a good public service (not that we get any respect nooooooooooooo! that would just be asking too much!). I am really enjoying it over here - winter is creeping in the temperature drops steadily and the nights have closed in I love it! The whole being single sing really sucks ass though everywhere I look I see happy couples having a good time but me well yes I am having a good time actually, now that I think about it I am not looking for a g/f, partner or significant other I like being on my own I don't need some-one else! I am glad we had this talk I am feeling much better - thanks!

My collection of geekish things has grown - I have the complete set of Futurama and Invader Zim also have Bubba Ho-Tep and am waiting for Hellboy to be released. I will also own The Incredibles when it comes out on DVD now that was an EXCELLENT film totally unlike most Disney flicks of late mmmmmmmmm the Incredibles rocks! I saw it with the Kiwi connection (Natalie) it is good having someone nearby that has similar tastes in entertainment, she is currently in Holland visiting Eric - her b/f another nice guy we get on really well which helps and he appreciates my sense of humour (shock!).
