I have gmail! Yesssssssssssss! Geek heaven - I know I know sad bastard that I am but hey I have wanted one for absolute ages. A shout out of thanks goes to my good friend Natalie who organised it for me. Huzzah!

Anyway back to work - am at Erith Library today.

I saw a fox last night

Well yes... the title says it all really! It was orange and skittish. Looked very healthy though and stopped to give me the once-over before trotting off.

OK so it was almost a week ago but i havent had time to write so here goes...

The Pixies - yessssssssssssssss aha ha ha ha ha! I saw them live! A thing I thought I'd never do it was worth it definately!!! Also there was Muse, Snow Patrol, The Strokes, Pink (surprisingly good in real life), Faithless, N*E*R*D, and a whole bunch of others that I can't remember off the top of my head.

The toilets were really vile - I saw a couple sneak into one for a quickie - they must have been desperate or total strangers who couldn't risk taking each other back to their respective camp areas.

So what did I get out of V? A Pixies shirt, whiplash, a pulled knee and a twisted ankle - all signs that I had a good time.

Damn it was good!!!

I have a headache

Last night went out with people from work to a Chinese place in Welling to celebrate Steve's 21st and Amy's 20th. Met up with Steve at the New Cross turnpike (pub) for drinks there were supposed to be others but they bailed without letting us know so we drank alone until Lucy called us from the restaurant. I had another drink there, we had a fun evening pegging the waiters and each other - it was Amy's idea so she is the Queen of Pegs (simple minds simple pleasures I know...)

I left them all there at 10:30 and caught the bus to Lewisham (the bus of freaks) one guy right at the back was muttering and swearing each time the bus stopped at a stop considering he was just behind me in was a bit nerve-wracking but he got off in Blackheath but there were several other odd-looking people on board.

I eventually got to bed at 12:30 in a very fuzzy state, I woke this morning at 7:30ish and had a shower. I had the headache then and still have it now, it is hanging around like a little cloud of doom.

My neck is also sore!

But all that aside I have actually got quite a bit of work done so I am (relatively) happy. I would be happier at home but bills to pay and all that - no I jest I do really enjoy my job. I am also hungry - there is a staff farewell upstairs and I can smell the food being eaten but I am on 2nd lunch (woohoo!) Who is leaving? Gill - one of the Children's Librarians, it will be a shame to see her go so I will keep my eyes closed! :-P My sense of humour really sucks majorly but hey it is mine and I enjoy it!
