Anti-social commentary #2

Have you ever noticed on the trains, underground and docklands light rail that during busy periods whenever you want to disembark there is (usually) a large group of people crowding round the doors waiting to push their way on. I mean it is logical to think that if you give all the people on board the carriages enough space to get off they will clear out that much more quickly than if they are only let off one at a time through a narrow corridor constructed of irritating, impatient people that ignore the repeated requests to let passengers disembark before trying to get on.

I think that I will start carrying a cactus whenever I use public transport – it may work better than Moses at the Red Sea!
